Job Description

The Trust seeks to appoint a Business Administration Apprentice to assist the Office Manager and wider HR and Team Development team by providing general office administrative support as part of City of Culture 2021.


  • Support the Office Manager to maintain a safe working environment across multiple sites
  • Be the first line of support for general queries and issues from Trust colleagues and external stakeholders
  • Monitor and order office equipment as required
  • Maintain filing systems, electronic and physical
  • Support with the procurement of services by contributing to business cases and monitoring budgets
  • Maintain good relationships with suppliers, including IT support
  • Manage meeting space and source event space when required
  • Be the first line of support for general queries and issues from Trust colleagues and external stakeholders
  • General admin as required
  • To ensure that the health and wellbeing of colleagues, partners and participants are always a key consideration of your work
  • To work flexibly as a member of the Coventry 2021 team and contribute to delivering other elements of the wider team’s work programme as required
  • Actively engage with the organisation’s vision and policies regarding equal opportunities and diversity, artistic ambition, participation and engagement, health and safety, monitoring and evaluation
  • To be aware of, and undertake to comply with the Trust’s GDPR, Health and Safety and Diversity and Equality Policies

Qualifications Required

A grade 4 or equivalent in maths and English GCSE
