Festival Assistant Administrative Apprentice Responsibilities:

  • Support the festival staff with any reasonable administrative tasks and activities as and when requested
  • Assist with conducting research tasks and collating information on google suite
  • Assist the Administrative & Executive Assistant with diary management, including travel details and keeping employee diaries up to date with all required information
  • Arrange travel arrangements for staff when requested, booking national and international travel and accommodation for meetings, festivals and events. Then updating diaries as appropriate
  • Support the Head of HR & Participation and the Administrative & Executive Assistant with arranging cross-team meetings
  • Answer the telephone, take messages, open and distribute post, field queries and invitations to the relevant staff
  • Take minutes and circulate action points from key meetings where required
  • Administrate company information
  • Update the Staff, Board, Advisory and Festival Assistant pages of the website as necessary
  • Assist with maintaining the office stationery and equipment supplies
  • Assist with the organising of key staff events such as Planning Days, Debrief, Christmas Party, Karaoke, and other staff socials
  • At the festival be based at the Festival office and be able to answer enquiries on email and telephone independently
  • Support festival volunteers with admin tasks during the festival
  • Any other reasonable tasks as requested by staff under the direction of the Head of HR & Participation and the Administrative & Executive Assistant

Future Prospects

Possibility of full time employment subject to successful completion of Apprenticeship.

Qualifications Required

Minimum of 5 GCSE or equivalent A*-D (9-3) grades including English and maths.

Training Provided

  • Level 2 Diploma in Business Administration
  • Level 2 Certificate in Principles of a Business Administration
  • Functional Skills - ICT at Level 1
