This is a fantastic opportunity to start a level 3 business administrator apprenticeship standard at nexus people. Your role will be to support areas within the business as required. This role can include payment processing, ordering stationary and preparing promotional items.

Responsibilities

Main Duties:

  • Answering the phone and directing the call to the correct department
  • Providing job references for previous candidates
  • Communicating with other departments
  • Dealing with visitors as they arrive
  • Supporting with the running of meetings, making drinks, ordering lunches etc
  • Fulfilling objectives and directions from senior management
  • Raising purchase orders for the business, and ordering items
  • Maintaining standards of health and safety, hygiene and security within the work environment
  • Performing accurate processing of data onto various databases
  • Filing paper and email data records into an easy to find system
  • Destroying data and records in line with data protection laws
  • Responding to and dealing with stakeholder communication
  • Dealing with incoming and outgoing post
  • Answer the telephone, email and online enquiries
  • Use office equipment like printers, photocopiers and fax machines
  • Stock take and re-order supplies
  • Make travel arrangements for staff

Future Prospects

  • Once you have completed the 15-month apprenticeship for the right candidates there will be opportunities to progress within the business
