Responsibilities
What will the apprentice be doing?
The apprentice will predominantly be responsible for undertaking a wide range of duties such as contract administration, project management and site inspections. They will also be expected to assist with TDD Surveys, Condition Surveys, Fire Risk Assessments, Dilapidation claims and Party Wall commissions. Typical tasks and activities include;
- Undertake professional Building Surveying duties including pre acquisition surveys/vendors reports, dilapidations, stock condition surveys and party wall work
- Ensure all information is available for the successful implementation and completion of projects.
Liaise with the Project Leader to ensure efficient financial control resulting in a cost-effective service. - Update regularly on the progress of each contract to the project leader
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
While studying with UCEM, you will work towards achieving your level 6 in Building Surveying
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
The apprentice will complete the apprenticeship as a full trained and qualified Building Surveyor. They will then undertake further career paths in Arcadis to progress onto larger projects, lead teams etc
