What will the apprentice be doing?
Your role will be to provide technical and administrative support in the team where you will work with experienced colleagues, undertake assessments of deposited applications and as your knowledge and experience increases, you will carry out some independent statutory and routine inspections on site.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
You will continuously develop your organisational, administrative and communication skills whilst studying towards a building control surveyor degree qualification.
The training will be delivered at our premises along with access to online virtual class sessions.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Building Control Surveyors may also be known as: Building Control Officer; Building Control Inspector; Building Control Consultant; Building Control Assistant; Building Control Advisor.
