Business Administration Officer within the Budget Support team of CLS. The role will support the team and the managers to ensure funding is allocated correctly and budgets are monitored efficiently.

Responsibilities

Main duties would include:

  • Handling calls from internal and external customer
  • Dealing with post, as appropriate
  • Monitoring the budget support mailbox
  • Updating our software, UNIT E with learners’ details (data entry)
  • Assisting with raising Journal transfers
  • Processing invoices
  • Photocopying and preparing documents for others
  • Taking minutes Team Meeting, may be required
  • Assist budget team with transactional billing
  • Producing financial information and providing guidance and support to other areas of the business. Receipt Sponsor Income on Student Accounts. Running reports off our Oracle software ensuring a clear audit trail of funding allocated

INTERVIEW

Qualifications Required

GCSE (or equivalent) grades A*-C/9-4 in English and maths.

Training Provided

On the job training with the employer whilst working towards the Apprenticeship Framework - consisting of the Intermediate NVQ Level Diploma in Business Administration, Personal Learning and Thinking Skills (PLTS) and the Employment Rights and Responsibilities (ERR) Workbook.

It may be necessary for you to complete Functional Skills in Maths, English and ICT – subject to previous achieved grades.

Regular work based assessments/observations carried out by Kent Training & Apprenticeships Tutor Assessor, to determine competency and meet with Awarding Body standards.
