Job Description

Hillier Hopkins are looking for a friendly individual to join our team in Sublime as a Bookkeeping Apprentice. Sublime provide a cloud-based solution for bookkeeping and accounting and you will be responsible for managing a variety of bookkeeping and administrative tasks to support the smooth running of the company operations.


To assist our Sublime team in helping to grow, the duties you will train in and carry out are:

  • Bookkeeping
  • Contacting clients via email and telephone
  • Reviewing transactions
  • Reconciliations
  • Processing Expenses
  • Preparation of VAT filing
  • Professional Ethics in the workplace     
  • Adhoc Admin duties to assist staff as and when required                        
  • Working towards obtaining the AAT qualification through college day release

Future Prospects

Skills Required

  • IT competent with a basic knowledge of Outlook, Word, and Excel

Qualities Required

  • A willingness to learn new skills

Qualifications Required

GCSE English Language and mathematics at Grade C/4, equivalent or above.


  • Educated to BTEC or A Level standard
  • Predicated grades will be accepted

Training Provided

  • Assistant Accountant [Level 3] Apprenticeship Standard
  • Training with Milton Keynes College
  • Ongoing training, support and development with the employer
