Responsibilities

What you will do in your working day

In this role, you will be working within the Quantity Surveying team and will be responsible for

  • Ad-hoc costing exercises in support of senior staff
  • Collating and filing electronic information on projects
  •  Assisting senior staff on valuation site visits
  • Researching information as required by senior staff
  • Measurement from drawings on our CATO system -training provided. 

The training you will be getting

Our apprenticeship programme is an incredible opportunity for talented students to fast track their career. You’ll join us on a four to five year apprenticeship where you’ll get a degree and achieve chartered status. You’ll spend one day a week studying at university and four days a week working with Avison Young, giving you the opportunity to earn while you learn. We cover the cost of your degree, so you are able to graduate from university debt free, whilst having earned a competitive salary

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

You will qualify as a Chartered Quantity Surveyor with the opportunity to explore permanent employment with us.
