Responsibilities
What will the apprentice be doing?
Main Responsibilities:
- Double entry bookkeeping and general data entry
- Vat returns and advice around tax liabilities
- Tax return preparation, submission to HMRC and tax calculations and generic advice to clients
- Client set up, office compliance and administrative tasks
- Liaising with clientele and supporting other staff members
- Other duties as and when needed
What we are looking for in an Apprentice:
- Ability to multitask and manage workload effectively
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Flexibility and ability to work as part of a small team
- Computer literate and have the ability to support clientele with general IT queries
- General administrative skills
- Confident when talking to people – in person and on the telephone
- Effective communicator with a proactive, enthusiastic and customer-focused approach
- Reliable, discrete, and confidential
- The ability to be forthcoming and offer up solutions
- Flexible and adaptable
- Has an eye for detail
- A team player

- Ongoing training, support and development with the employer

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
