Job Description

We understand you might have little knowledge of our industry. Repairing Accident Damaged Cars, it's an exciting opportuity to learn somthing every day, dealing with latest in car technology on car and vans. Paint Spraying Preparation Masking Polishing & cleaning up Panel Beating, welding, filler work, plastic repairs & cleaning up

Responsibilities

What will the apprentice be doing?

We have the following positions in all departments for motivated people who are team players, those who are reliable dependable and with a brilliant attitude to work and the team

  • MET dismantling and reassembling, removing damaged and broken components and replacing then
  • Paint Sprayers, sanding, cleaning, colour matching, polishing, masking up using tape and paper,
  • Panel Beaters & Plastic Repair Professionals. knocking out dents sanding, rubbing filler down cutting off panels repairing plastics

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Apprentices will be on an IMI Accredited Program, this will also be supported by lots of on the job training you are required to be a focused learner especially on the administration side of the e-learning portal, the faster you complete this the more you will earn each hour, your achievement is directly responsible to the effort and commitment you put in.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

Following completion of your apprenticeship which will likely take between 24 and 36 months.

Reality Check

You will be working in a busy workshop, operating machines that are often noisy and loud, you will get dirty during the working day, you will be required to wear overalls and protective clothing gloves, masks goggles safety shoes. You will be a tidy team worker who is responsible and focused you will be required to clean up several times a day .
