Responsibilities
What will the apprentice be doing?
You will receive training to enable you to carry out the following duties:
• To assist goods in team to accept deliveries
• To pick orders from our main warehouse, using an order picker truck and handset
• To replenish stocks in our robotics warehouse
• To pack goods ready for dispatch
• How to maintain confidentiality and GDPR
• How to follow, contribute to and be an advocate of company vision and values
• How to follow and promote company policies and procedures
• How to adhere to Health and Safety within the workplace
• The importance product safety, integrity, legality, and quality, how it applies at all times and in all areas of our business
• General housekeeping
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
- Level 2 Supply Chain Warehouse Operative Apprenticeship Standards
- Highfield Level 2 Certificate for Supply Chain Warehouse Operative (RQF)
- English and Maths Functional Skills Level 1 / 2
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Possibility of a full-time role at the end of the programme.
