Warehouse Apprentice required for a busy Luxury tile and stone specialist based within Harrogate. For the right person, there is the opportunity to secure full time employment and progress to higher level qualifications.
Responsibilities
Your main point of contact throughout the working day would be the Warehouse Supervisor & as such, you will be responsible for maintaining and setting highest standards.
Duties will include:
- Operate and handle equipment safely & effectively
- Select, prepare & use packaging materials appropriately
- Check the quality of all products moving in/out of business
- Ability to load goods
- Have an understanding of all stone fabrication
- Carefully packing and wrapping fragile products into crates
- Work in a safe manner & be H&S aware
- Maintain a good working practice with all members of staff
- Assist in other areas of the business as & when required
