Apprentice Vehicle Technician - Advanced (Level 3)

We have our training Academy with lead occupational tutors to teach you the knowledge and skills to succeed.

Responsibilities

What will the apprentice be doing?

Observe and gain knowledge of how to carry out the correct method of repair and maintenance of Vehicles.

Assist in the repairs, routine maintenance and diagnostic work on Vehicles as per written instructions or as directed by the Workshop Controller / Mentor

Attend all relevant training and academy courses as required.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone wanting a career in the motor industry. At the end of those 3 year apprenticeship you will be qualified to a level 3 Light Vehicle maintenance and repair technician. This could lead to future opportunities of Master Technicians roles and further development to Workshop Controller. Across the 3 years you will have block and day release training as part of the Off the job training this is mainly at our state of the Art technical school in Goole other training will be delivered at the dealership.

Reality Check

Genuine interest in motor vehicle service and repair as a career long periods on your feet. Your initial training period will include a lot of observing fully trained technicians and taking instruction from them, you must be able to concentrate for long periods and retain information.
