What will the apprentice be doing?
We have an opportunity for a Level 3 apprentice Transport Technician to join us on our award-winning programme in Taunton, starting in Summer/Autumn 2020. As an Apprentice at Stantec, you will be part of an industry leading programme designed to develop the best Engineers. We will pair you with an experienced engineer who will guide and mentor you through the initial phase of your career. You’ll be involved in the design and delivery of some of our projects from start to finish. We will teach you how to use programs such as Computer Aided Design (CAD) to produce drawings for building and infrastructure projects. You will learn technical skills such as civil engineering calculations and report writing.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

At the end of your apprenticeship you’ll achieve a BTEC Level 3 Certificate in Construction and the Built Environment
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Following on from this apprenticeship you would be qualified to pursue a career as a Transport Technician or you could progress on to a Level 5/6 Apprenticeship working towards becoming a Tranport Planner.
