Are you looking to start your management journey? The Michael Streete Foundation are looking to expand their team by taking on a Team Leader Apprentice!


What will the apprentice be doing?

Michael Streete Foundation (MSFDN) is looking for a talented and enthusiastic individual to be a member of its management team to join as an apprentice. We are seeking a bright young fellow who is capable of delivering within time constraints, comfortable in working with teams and has a keen interest in operational management and team leadership. The candidate will be required to develop a strong knowledge of organisational processes, operations, project management, and team management while working at MSFDN.

Job Purpose

The purpose of this job is to have a future-oriented, talented & devoted person who has baseline knowledge and skills in leadership, team management, organisational management and project management. The candidate must demonstrate an interest in teamwork, future growth, learning and building a long-term relationship with MSFDN. The primary role will be to plan and execute organisational strategies, processes, team leadership and project lifecycle management. Through this vacancy, we are providing an opportunity for the raw talent to nurture their skills and untapped potential.


As an Apprentice Team Leader your role will include (but is not limited to):

  • Conducting research/data collection
  • Surveys & questionnaires
  • Analysing and creating project requirements
  • Assisting project manager & administrator
  • Public relations coordination & communication
  • Project task scheduling and delivery management
  • People & staff management
  • Fundraising campaign management
  • Book-keeping
  • Communication with partners
  • Area/space management
  • Organising and conducting classes/workshops
  • Planning, organisation and delivery (hosting) of events, activities and any other programmes/workshops.
  • Calendar/scheduling

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

The successful applicant will complete and obtain a Level 3 Team Leader Qualification through Learning Curve Group. 

You will be taught through:

  • 4-6 Weekly 1-2-1 Sessions with your tutor
  • 6 weekly hours of off-the-job Training
  • The course is an 18-month long programme

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

  • There will be the opportunity for a full-time role upon completion of the apprenticeship.
