Responsibilities
Typical Roles and Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- 1st Line support on the IT Helpdesk
- Setting up news PCs and Laptops
- Using tools to test, troubleshoot and analyse problems
- Hardware and software configuration, installation, and set up
- Provide remote cause analysis and problem resolution to keep the systems running smoothly
Full training and support will be provided throughout your apprenticeship.
Future Prospects
- There are career progression opportunities available upon completion of the programme
- You, along with your employer, may decide to progress into a full-time position with the business or progress onto a level 4 apprenticeship

- Experience in hardware troubleshooting would be advantageous
- GCSE maths grade C/4 or equivalent

- Infrastructure Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard
- Functional Skills if required
