Job Description

As a Software Applications Analyst Apprentice you'll collaborate with programmers and stakeholders throughout the company to ensure on-time delivery of high-quality applications. Our experience team of Software Analysts are keen to share their knowledge with you so that you can be an integral part of the team as quickly as possible.


What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Work with stakeholders to deliver projects time
  • Develop and implement a System Test Programme to ensure the changes will not have an adverse effect on existing applications and systems
  • Work with the product owners to manage User Acceptance Testing
  • Maintain Test environments to enable project delivery and testing functions
  • Ensure Software deployments are delivered quickly and smoothly with limited downtime for our customers
  • Critically evaluate the performance and functionality of applications 

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

As part of the Level 4 Software Tester apprenticeship standard, you’ll be registered as a member with the British Computer Society and be on a fast track to an industry recognised qualification and your dedicated industry coach will support you through a blended approach that will include remote, in person, 1-2-1 and and group learning.
