Job Description

You’ll work within one of our Software Development teams, operating at all stages of the Software Development Lifecycle where you’ll work as an apprentice developer, so you’ll need a passion for software development, problem solving, design, high quality code and most importantly a willingness to learn.


What will the apprentice be doing?

We have a range of opportunities across MHR in different product teams using a range of technologies. Typically, you could be:

  • Developing solutions using Angular, Angular JS, JavaScript, .Net and Java
  • Using C# to integrate low code solutions
  • Adhering to best practises, writing clean code
  • Developing product features within agreed timescales and standards
  • Reviewing requirements and designs
  • Planning and performing tests
  • Working within agile frameworks
  • Learning about new technologies and techniques 

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

As part of the Level 4 Software Developer apprenticeship standard, you’ll be registered as a member with the British Computer Society and be on a fast track to an industry recognised qualification and your dedicated industry coach will support you through a blended approach that will include remote, in person, 1-2-1 and group learning.
