Job Description

Interested in cars and Customer Service? This is a great opportunity to work for a leading retailer as a Service Advisor. As an Apprentice Service Advisor you will provide essential support and customer service.

Responsibilities

As an Apprentice Service Advisor you will provide essential support and customer service. This role would be ideal for anyone who has a passion for Honda and its products but also enjoys a customer service role. 

You will be an apprentice in a busy Service Advisor environment. You will carry out tasks relevant to: 

  • Serving customers
  • Dealing with queries
  • Booking in vehicles
  • Processing payments

The successful candidate will be employed by a Honda Car Dealer in Orpington, where you will be required to learn all aspects of the job role of a Honda Parts Advisor. Training will be provided in the Dealership and at the Honda Institute Centre of Excellence.

You will receive top quality Honda training leading to nationally recognised industry qualifications. An Apprentice Parts Advisor works towards City and Guilds Diploma Level 2 in Vehicle Parts Operations, City and Guilds Level 2 Award in Employee Rights and Responsibilities, Functional Skills, the Honda Challenge Personal Development Programme and the Honda Parts Advisor Award.

The Parts apprenticeship lasts for 18 months and can lead to a rewarding career in an important department of any Honda Dealer with many possible career progressions.

Candidates must live within 20 miles of the vacancy.

Qualifications Required

Minimum of 3 GCSE (or equivalent) grades A*-D/9-3 in English and maths required.
