To help you meet your work and domestic commitments, we are happy to discuss flexible working arrangements, that support delivery of our operational requirements.

We are in transition to new ways of working following the Covid19 pandemic. Whilst Winchester will be your formal workplace, you will work from a mix of office and home. At the moment we expect a higher proportion of your working week to be at home.

  • Develop skills of those already fulfilling a business administration role.

  • Help learners develop the skills and qualities valued in employees by employers.
  • Allow learners to understand and work on their strengths and weaknesses as a business administration advisor.

At the end of this Apprenticeship you will be expected to be able to deliver the following duties:

  • Contribute to and support the delivery of a high quality support service working within the Highways Operation Centre.
  • Act as first point of contact for customer enquiries. Answer routine enquiries, prepare correspondence, and refer complex queries to senior colleagues.
  • Input information onto databases to maintain accurate records, ensuring information is correct and up-to-date.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and motivation to work well as part of a team and support other members of the team as required.
