Responsibilities
What will the apprentice be doing?
- Duties will include
- serving customers
- Food preparation
- making sandwiches/baguettes/salads etc,
- cleaning at end of shift.
Opportunity for the right person to also learn business management and web development skills. Salary starting at £6 per hour but increasing to £7 per hour after three months.
Working hours are Monday to Friday 8am until 2.15pm (30 hours per week), occasional extra hours available.
Free lunch provided each day.
Basic food prepration tasks
Making sandwiches, baguettes, salads and wraps to order
Making and packing online orders
Greeting customers and serving on the till
Making coffees using barista-style machine
Opening/closing the shop
Clearing down,
washing-up and end-of-shift cleaning
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
Level 2 Hospitality Team Member
2 Food Hygiene and Safety for Catering
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
A good basis for any customer service role. Would particularly suit someone who wants to go into hospitality (pubs, cafes,
restaurants etc) or retail . Also a good opportunity to learn how to run a small business for future entrepreneurs!
