Job Description

PP Group, one of the UK’s leading independent profiling and processing companies, believe that youth is the future of the P.P. Group. They have an exciting apprenticeship opportunity to join their busy sales manufacturing team in Oldham.

Responsibilities

A normal day would include:

  • Support the Sales team in their duties
  • Create Job Packs for all fabrication quotations
  • Must develop strong communication skills, as they will be required to regularly liaise with both customers and colleagues
  • Identify materials, processes and time requirements by studying proposals, specifications, drawings and related documentation
  • To manage order processing accounts given
  • Liaise with customers to build, maintain & develop company relationships
  • To develop technical knowledge as well as developing IT, CAD and system skills
  • To manage and prioritise your own time and workload efficiently on a daily basis
  • Follow up on all sales enquires that are over 24 hours old
  • Ensure a high level of data base maintenance at all times
  • The employee will also be expected to complete other reasonable requests and other administrative duties upon request
  • Lead by example at all times
  • To follow & complete the agreed training plan
  • Be proactive in eliminating any hazard, which may be discovered at, or in the vicinity of, the place of work
  • To take reasonable care for the health and safety of themselves and that of other persons who may be affected by their acts or omissions
  • To fully co-operate regarding any duty or requirement imposed on the Company, or on any individual by or under any of the relevant statutory provisions, so far as is necessary, to enable that duty or requirement to be performed or complied with
