A career shaping role for the enthusiastic individual looking to join both the motor industry and has the ability to communicate well with all types of people. You will play a key role in the front line of vehicle sales and meeting and greeting customers.


Reporting to the Sales Manager.

Duties will include a combination of administrative and customer facing duties:

  • Meeting and greeting customers and visitors to the department
  • Handle telephone enquiries and make customer viewing and test drive appointments
  • Process and handle the customer sales appointment from arrival to departure
  • Liaise with all departments in the chain of sales through to aftersales to drive the whole customer experience to the highest standard
  • Look to upsell to customers - providing maximum impact to the department and added value to the customer
  • Develop knowledge of our products - prestige vehicle makes and associated accessories and added value items
  • General administration - including process documentation, invoicing, PPI checks and others where required
  • Input data and manage databases
  • Handle payments
  • Make customer satisfaction survey calls to customers and feedback to line management
  • Log Off the Job Learning hours as part of apprenticeship programme

The National Minimum Wage for Apprentices is £4.15 per hour. This is the legal minimum pay per hour applying to 16-18 year old apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their apprenticeship. For apprentices 19 or over who have completed their first year and are continuing their apprenticeship, the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies.
