Responsibilities

Working in a fast paced environment, providing a high quality service, to assist customers in choosing the best rental vehicle for them.

The role is designed to give you a strong grounding in all aspects of working in a successful car and van rental outlet from; customer engagement, selling additional products, customer check-out, check-in, assisting in the organisation of vehicle delivery and collection, andultimately leading to a  permanent role with wide ranging career possibilities.

Duties will include:

  • To provide a high level of customer service in all customer contact situations, recognising our company’s customer service standards and your empowerment to deliver total customer satisfaction
  • Contribute to sales targets by proactively promoting additional services to suit customer needs
  • Work towards KPI’s and sales targets both as part of the team and as an individual
  • To handle enquiries and overcome any problems the customer may have in a helpful and efficient manner in order to be able to close a sale
  • Handle all telephone and face to face enquiries in a polite and helpful manner
  • To accurately complete all rental
  • administration and vehicle documentation, including the identification and reporting of damage, according to the Company’s Operating Procedures
  • Carry out instructions/procedures on the in house computerised rental system as requested by Manager/Supervisor

Qualifications Required

  • GCSE or equivalent maths and English at grade D/3 or above desirable but not essential.
  • Due to the nature of the role
  • A full, valid clean driving licence, with a minimum of 4 years driving experience is desirable but not essential

Training Provided

Customer Service Practitioner Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard:

  • This apprenticeship is delivered through work based learning, this means that all training is done at the workplace eliminating the need to attend college. The successful candidate will be allocated an  assessor who will visit on site every 4-6 weeks and deliver all of the training to gain the qualification and provide the resources to complete work between visits
