Job Description

At Dion Care Services we are a strong believer in training staff to be the best they can be and this is the mindset we have when working with apprentices. We are looking for 2 candidates to cover the role between them and work as a team with our full time administrator who will act as your mentor along the way.

Responsibilities

What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Booking shifts and staff co-ordination, checking reliability and locations
  • Compliance checks, recruitment tasks such as interviewing and keeping up to date records
  • Sending out invoices from the timesheet portal each month and forwarding hours to payroll
  • Adding job vacancies onto jobsites, updating website with jobs and social media platforms
  • Account management

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Full job training will be provided through a detailed induction process and lots of job shadowing. We will also train you to use the systems and around 'on call' process. You will be given 3 hours of training per week to support with your apprenticeship training and 3 hours a week in which to complete your coursework. The applicant will be working towards a Business Admin level 3 qualification.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

Upon successful completion the candidate will be in a position to hold a permanent contract if available.

Reality Check

Following a successful 3 month probationary period you will be permitted to work at home with limited office time mainly accessing for training. You will also work either a Saturday or Sunday each week (from home) where you will be responsible for on call duties mainly consisting of relaying messages regarding staff shifts and issues.
