Job Description

As an apprentice quantity surveyor working in the commercial team which will see you building new skills, while applying your knowledge to real-world live projects. There will be plenty of opportunities to explore your potential and you’ll enjoy full support from your line manager.


What will the apprentice be doing?

Gain an understanding of policies and procedures within JCI​
and understanding of the role of a Quantity Surveyor and main requirements​
Buddy Up with a member of the Commercial Team​
An understanding of High-level commercial basics on issues that a Quantity Surveyor encounters​. Assist Team Member in the preparation of documents such applications for payment whilst being supported by the Commercial Team. Secondment to other areas of the business including estimating, procurement and operations​

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Successful completion of the apprenticeship will allow for professional registration with RICS

3 year apprenticeship programme will include college time split with site work.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

After successfully completing your 3 year apprenticeship there may be the opportunity to progress on to the Level 6 Construction Quantity Surveyor (Degree) at university to support your progression as a quantity surveyor.
