Working on a range of projects, you will be actively involved with the recruitment of professionals to take part in medical market research. This will involve using different methods of contact and careful scheduling to ensure success.

As an Apprentice Project Co-ordinator you will be playing a key role in ensuring that the needs of our clients continue to be met.

The role will include – but is not limited to – the following:

  • Recruiting doctors and nurses to take part in interviews on their area of medical expertise. This will be conducted via phone calls and emails (via mail merge) through a screening process of questions. Respondents must be fully informed of the study requirements with concise details
  • Updating a number of different excel documents with the information obtained from the respondents
  • Updating respondent information on company database
  • Confirming respondents in writing and reminding respondents via telephone of their interview to ensure the interviews run smoothly
  • Attention to detail is a must along with good organisational skills

Interview
We will be interviewing candidates who meet the criteria as they apply and will recruit after a successful interview which may be before the closing date.

Reality check

You will be responsible for your travel expenses to and from your place of work.  Therefore, you must have the means to get to your place of work on a daily basis whilst waiting for your first wages to be paid.

Travel Information

The role is conveniently based on Staplehurst Road in Sittingbourne, a 20-minute walk from the High Street / train station. The nearest bus stop is a 5-minute walk from the office.

Skills Required

  • Good communication skills, both verbal and in written
  • Good ICT skills

Qualities Required

  • The successful candidate should have good interpersonal skills and be well-organised
  • We are looking for a candidate who is professional, ambitious and enthusiastic to learn

Qualifications Required

  • GCSE grades 9-3 (A* to D) in maths and English or equivalent qualifications in these subjects

Training Provided

  • Level 2 Customer service practitioner
  • On the job training with the employer whilst working towards the Apprenticeship Standard
  • It may be necessary for you to complete Functional Skills in maths, English and ICT – subject to previous achieved grades
  • Regular work based assessments/observations carried out by Kent Training & Apprenticeships Tutor Assessor, to determine competency and meet with Awarding Body standards
