What will the apprentice be doing?
Based in our Milton Keynes workshop as an Apprentice Powered Access Engineer, you will be an important part of operations and a key player in keeping the workshop productive.
You will take part in our structured three year training programme learning:
-How equipment works and what it is used for
-Service and repair of our equipment
-Testing of equipment
-How to set up new equipment ready for hire
-Industry specific technical qualifiations
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
During the three years you will study the new L3 Lift Truck and Powered Access Engineer Technician apprenticeship standard and complete the associated end point assessment (EPA) with our external training provider.
Training will be via block release.

Our structured training programme will not only develop your technical skills and abilities but also offer you the opportunity to develop the skills needed to become a well-rounded individual in order to progress your career in line with your own aspirations.
Reality CheckWe would like candidates to be driven and willing to learn and develop. You must be comfortable attending block learning placements at other sites in the country and learning both on the job and in a classroom/practical learning environment. Being interested in machinery, mechanics and electrics and comfortable working at height are essential.
