What will the apprentice be doing?
- Carry out basic repairs within your trade
- Completing task planner to record new jobs
- Be active in the community work we encourage to leave a legacy
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
As an Apprentice with Fortem, you will complete a training course dedicted to your trade - Plumbing and Domestic Heating Technician Level 3 at college. You will attend college 1 day a week, whilst working with your Trade mentor the other 4 days, putting your knowledge and skills learned into practice “on the job”.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
You will have a clear plan around your development and our unrivalled Apprenticeship Scheme has proved time and time again that developing our next generation of future Trades is imperative to our growth plans. Once qualified, you will have the opportunity to complete a second apprenticeship in a complimentary trade, to provide you with the skills and experience to become fully multi-skilled.
Reality Check
We cover a big patch so if you aren't local to Rushden we also cover the East Northamptonshire, Peterborough & Rutland areas but you will need to come to the Rushden office for assessment & interview.Skills Required
