Job Description

Responsibilities

What will the apprentice be doing?

 We hire people with exceptional talents, abilities and potential, then create an environment where you can become the best version of yourself and thrive both professionally and personally.Tasks with training will include:

  • Preparing summary payroll documents for all payrolls
  • Checking bank details, NI numbers and employee details
  • Data entry and completing basic calculations
  • Internal and external reporting to meet company deadlines
  • Providing administrative support to our Payroll and Benefits teams

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

  • You will be working towards completing a Level 3 Payroll Administrator Apprenticeship with Smart Training and Recruitment which will be delivered by virtual learning and in the workplace
  • On successful completion, this will provide you with an opportunity to apply for an Associate Membership of the CIPP (Chartered Institute of Payroll Practitioners)

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

  • This is a fixed-term contract but there may be potential opportunities in the wider team or business that can be applied for towards the end of the Apprenticeship
