Job Description

An exciting opportunity for an apprentice to work alongside qualified Honda Parts Consultants where you will be fully trained in all aspects of becoming a fully qualified Parts Consultant. You will carry out tasks relevant to serving customers and allocating the correct parts.

Responsibilities

An exciting opportunity for an apprentice to work alongside qualified Honda Parts Consultants where you will be fully trained in all aspects of becoming a fully qualified Parts Consultant.

  • You will carry out tasks relevant to serving customers and allocating the correct parts
  • You will also be partly responsible for maintenance of the parts environment
  • To provide a service to all customers, internal and external, that meets or exceeds their expectations
  • To ensure that parts are correctly checked against delivery notes before signing
  • To maintain dress code in line with company corporate identification. To report any stock damage or stock losses to the Parts Manager

Qualifications Required

  • GCSE or equivalents at grades A-C/9-4 (or equivalent) are preferred but other candidates may apply
  • Working knowledge of Windows and spreadsheets would be advantageous

Training Provided

  • Training consists of 4 weeks block training over a 2-year period with the remainder of your time being spent at a Honda retailer where practical training and guidance will be provided
  • You will be working towards a Level 2 Apprenticeship along with Functional Skills in maths, English
  • You will also work towards Honda internal qualifications
  • As part of your training you will attend our Honda Apprenticeship technical centre in Bracknell for block release training. (Accommodation & transport costs will be covered by your employer)
