This team is responsible for keeping Arqiva “Securely On Air.” Working in this critical role, you will have the opportunity to learn first-hand about security concepts from a highly specialised team. You will have insight to all sorts of connectivity requests and design implementations where you will be involved in building the security solution

Responsibilities

What will the apprentice be doing?

In-depth troubleshooting of security issues 
Involvement in security design across the wider Arqiva business 
Security implementations, in-life management, enhancements 
Scan analysis to find security weakness 

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

This is an exciting opportunity to combine study with real work-based experience and learning to enable you to gain a  Level 4 Apprenticeship  in  Network Engineering. This programme has been specifically designed with specialist employers in this area including Arqiva, Cisco,  IBM and Accenture and covers all aspects of IP and Network Engineering. The course will provide you with one of the most recognised qualifications within the industry and once fully qualified, this will provide an excellent starting point for a career in digital industry.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

Arqiva apprentices stay with the business and move across the Arqiva career structure into technical specialist roles or into management roles. With the skills and experience gained in this role, a career in project management is also a really viable career route.
