Job Description

This nursery offers childcare for ages 0-11. They offer nursery and childcare facilities from 8:30am until 6:00pm. They are close to amenities and central for commuting. For this role you will need good communication skills and relate well to people of all ages, be calm, confident and caring and have a conscientious approach to working.

Responsibilities

Your duties will include:

  • Providing personal care i.e. nappy change
  • Encourage health and wellbeing
  • Assistant with mealtimes
  • Building relationships with children, parents and guardians
  • Working within a team
  • DBS checks will be completed for successful applicants
  • To provide care for children aged 0-5 years of age
  • To provide meals throughout the day
  • To promote sleep and play throughout the day
  • Carrying out personal care such as nappy change
  • Ensuring safe play at all times – being vigilant and responsive

  • Be calm, confident and caring
  • Have a conscientious approach to working

Qualifications Required

  • GCSE (or equivalent) maths and English grade 4/C and above would be preferred
  • Some childcare experience
