A fantastic opportunity has arisen at Dysart nursery to join the team as an apprentice.

  • The role involves working with all children aged 3 months - 5 years
  • Help to supervise the children's play, learning activities and mealtimes
  • You will be working as part of a team
  • The role requires caring for all children's needs and assisting staff with the Early Years Foundation Stage requirements
  • We are looking for someone who enjoys spending time with very young children and to be willing to learn all job duties and train to gain childcare qualifications
  • The earliest start time will be 7am and the latest finish time is 6pm

This employer has many years' experience of employing and training apprentices with great success.

You will work as part of a team who take an active role in the provision of safe and stimulating environment. You will be required to support the care and well-being of children, and support links with parents and professionals within the setting. You will work as a team member in a professional team. Some childcare experience is desirable but not essential.

The successful applicant is required to undergo a DBS enhanced disclosure. The disclosure expense will be met by the employer.

Future Prospects

Dysart Nursery will support you and train you to achieve your Level 2 and Level 3 Childcare qualification. There is a possibility of full-time employment at the end of your apprenticeship.

Reality Check

The work pattern is any 5 days out of 7 on a rota basis. Shifts will include days, evenings, work to the requirements of the workplace. Employment is subject to a DBS check.
