We can create a tailored package to meet your needs to complete a Children and Young People’s workforce qualification at certificate or diploma level, making it possible for you to achieve employment in this very rewarding vocational field.


Day to day duties in the nursery will include.

  • Follow agreed nursery routines ensuring policies and procedures are adhered to
  • To be flexible within working practices of the setting, undertaking other responsible duties where needed, such as domestic tasks, preparation of snack meals, cleansing of equipment, etc
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the setting
  • Assist with the delivery of play based activities
  • To aid with the development and learning of the children
  • Provide a high standard of physical care and safety
  • Help to ensure the nursery meets Ofsted requirements at all times

Future Prospects

  • On completion of the 14 month apprenticeship program, depending on performance, you may be offered a full time role within the Nursery

Qualifications Required

  • No experience needed, just the right attitude towards work, all training will be provided
  • If a candidate is Level 2 qualified then you will be able to undertake the Level 3 qualification

Training Provided

  • Children and Young Peoples Workforce Level 2 or Children and Young Peoples Workforce Level 3 (Early Years Educator)
