Job Description

Responsibilities

A great opportunity has arisen at St Paul's nursery to join the team as an apprentice. The successful applicant is required to undergo a DBS enhanced disclosure.

The disclosure expense will be met by the employer.

  • You will take an active role in the provision of safe and stimulating environment
  • You will be required to support the care and well being of children, and support links with parents and professionals within the setting
  •  You will work as a team member in a professional team. Some childcare experience is desirable but not essential

As an Apprentice you will be included on a Childcare Qualification, this will involve a Vocational Learning Advisor will visit you on a regular basis to deliver the training and coach the Apprentice and will be observing whilst you work.

Future Prospects

Ongoing training and development, potentially leading to promotion. This is an excellent opportunity to undertake an Early Years Practitioner Standard with an award winning learning provider.

Reality Check

Training will be provided by Babcock Training, on-site at the Nursery. The successful candidate will gain experience with children 3 months to 5 years. Monday to Friday from 7:00am-6:00pm. Skills Required

  • The successful candidate must have excellent timekeeping skills
  • Good communication skills - Both verbal and written
