This role will be part of the Network Operations team and is a fantastic opportunity to be part of the team responsible for the delivery of TV, Radio and Data content over Fibre, Satellite, Microwave and Internet cloud-based infrastructure. You will provide support to our Network Operations Centres (our ‘eyes and ears’) who monitor the networks


What will the apprentice be doing?

In-depth troubleshooting of delivery issues across the network(s) 

Involvement in design decisions for network expansion and new projects 

Network upgrades and enhancements 

Analysis of key systems to deliver improvements in performance and availability using a variety of network monitoring and diagnostic tools 

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

This is an exciting opportunity to combine study with real work-based experience and learning to enable you to gain a  Level 4 Apprenticeship  in  Network Engineering. This programme has been specifically designed with specialist employers in this area including Arqiva, Cisco,  IBM and Accenture and covers all aspects of IP and Network Engineering. The course will provide you with one of the most recognised qualifications within the industry and once fully qualified, this will provide an excellent starting point for a career in digital industry.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

Arqiva apprentices stay with the business and move across the Arqiva career structure into technical specialist roles or into management roles. With the skills and experience gained in this role, a career in project management is also a really viable career route.
