Job Description

This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated apprentice to support our team in a range of administrative duties. You will work towards a Level 3 Business Administrator apprenticeship standard.


The main purpose of the role will be to perform general administrative duties and provide support to the England and Wales Service Charge & Ground Rent Recovery Team as required. You may also be required to help out with administrative duties outside of this team for the firm when requested.

Typical duties will include:

  • Dealing with new instructions, making sure that these are set up on the system and checked before documents are sent
  • Setting up of new referrer/client levels on the system
  • Answering and transferring any incoming calls
  • Communicating with the outsourcing team, passing over tasks and liaising with them on any queries
  • Printing and collating documents to the Courts and Defendants
  • Completing Compliance and Anti Money Laundering checks
  • Chasing documents from the Court
  • Sending client reports on behalf of the team
  • Working through your task list each day
  • Taking payments from leaseholders when needed
  • Helping with incoming and outgoing post where required
  • Undertaking any other tasks/duties as may be reasonably required to ensure the overall administrative and operational priorities of the business are delivered in a timely and effective manner

Future Prospects

There will be future progression opportunities upon successful completion of the apprenticeship if both the employer and the apprentice are happy.

Qualifications Required

GCSEs at grades C/4 or above (or equivalent) in maths and English.

Training Provided

Level 3 Business Administrator apprenticeship standard, with a Legal Pathway, which includes:

  • Level 2 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required)
  • End-Point Assessment (EPA)
