Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust working within the Learning and Development Department providing support in managing and developing the Trust’s Learning Management System.

Responsibilities

What will the apprentice be doing?

The role will be predominantly be supporting the Learning & Development Systems Manager. 

· To support the Learning & Development Systems Manager in managing and developing the Trust’s Learning Management system (LMS).

·To help maintain all front and back-end aspects of the LMS.

·To help provide business-focused reports, through data entry and extractions of information from the Trust’s LMS, to ensure staff, managers and others have the information they require.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

The successful applicant will receive induction and training appropriate to the activities they will undertake, and following this induction period will be enrolled with an educational provider to complete the Level 3 Data Technician Apprenticeship Standard. Standard includes:

·Level 3 Data Technician Apprenticeship Standard

·NHS Data Citizen Certificate

·Modules of the NHS Edward Jenner Leadership programme

·L2 Functional Skills maths and English Certificate (if not already achieved)

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

Following successful completion of the apprenticeship you will be supported to apply for a substantive post within the Trust.
