What will the apprentice be doing?
JCR supports people becoming independent following a reablement programme. Reablement is about teaching people to learn the skills how to get back to a level of independence following illness. You will visit clients, helping them regain independence & improve their quality of life. Whilst working alongside our therapy team you will be implementing care, rehabilitation & exercise programmes. You will asupport the client with personal care activities, such as washing/dressing and meal preparation.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
We will train you on the job and it won’t cost you a penny. You will then receive a certificate as an Adult Care Worker when you complete your apprenticeship and there are lots of opportunities to progress.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Once you pass your apprenticeship you will be in a permanent role as a JCR Support Worker.
