Job Description

Responsibilities

What will the apprentice be doing?

This role is in the Joint Community Rehabilitation (JCR) team, JCR is a partnership between East Sussex County Council and East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust.

JCR supports people at home becoming independent following a short reablement programme. Reablement is about teaching people to learn the skills how to get back to a level of independence following a period of illness. 

You don’t need any experience, just a desire to make a difference and a full driving licence.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

We will train you on the job and it won’t cost you a penny. You will then receive a certificate as an Adult Care Worker when you complete your apprenticeship and there are lots of opportunities to progress. 

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

Once you pass your apprenticeship you will be in a permanent role as a JCR Support Worker.
