Job Description

​If you are patient, kind and caring you could make a positive difference as a support worker. You will learn skills for life by becoming a JCR Support Worker Apprentice.

Responsibilities

What will the apprentice be doing?

You will visit clients in their homes, helping them to regain their independence and improve their quality of life. Whilst working alongside our therapy team you will be implementing care, rehabilitation and exercise programmes. You will also support the client with personal care activities, such as washing/dressing and meal preparation.

You don’t need any experience, just a desire to make a difference and a full driving licence.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

We will train you on the job, in the workplace and it won’t cost you a penny. You will then receive a Level 2 Diploma in Care. When you complete your apprenticeship, there are lots of opportunities to progress. 

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

Could lead to a permanent role at the end of the apprenticeship.
