Job Description

Working in a team of 15, this is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to be involved in building, installing and configuring new IT equipment at customer sites. The perfect candidate will have good communication skills and be eager to develop themselves in the world of IT.


Roles and Responsibilities:

Typical roles and responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Build, Install, configure and test new IT equipment, i.e. Servers, Storage and Network
  • Installing IT equipment into racks at customer sites
  • Install and configure Operating systems
  • Log hardware faults to suppliers
  • Updating project tickets using company CRM systems

Full training and support will be provided throughout your apprenticeship by both Baltic Apprenticeships and Pixit Media.

  • There are career progression opportunities available upon completion of the programme
  • You, along with your employer, may decide to progress into a full-time IT position with the business

Skills Required

  • Keen interest in IT
  • Good written communication skills
  • A positive attitude and have a willingness to learn

Qualities Required

  • A full UK driving licence would be an advantage but is not essential
  • Good problem solving ability
  • Someone who can work individually and as part of a team

Qualifications Required

  • Grade 4/C GCSE or equivalent in maths is required for the role
