Job Description

With a vision to change lives and improve the educational outcomes for communities in the North of England, Delta Academies Trust are further growing their existing team through the addition of an IT Support Apprentice.


Duties to include:

  • Providing server and network support to teachers and students
  • Providing desktop and application support to teachers and students
  • Configuring, installing and offering support on various IT-based equipment
  • Updating and maintaining security on computers
  • General maintenance and troubleshooting

Future Prospects

  • There are career progression opportunities available upon completion of the program
  • Mileage Allowance (45p per mile)
  • You, along with your employer, may progress to a Level 4 program, and take your training even further

Skills Required

  • Good communication skills
  • An understanding of IT & Technology
  • Experience or knowledge of computer hardware & software
  • A commitment to learning new skills

Qualifications Required

  • GCSE grades A*-C / 9-4 in maths & English (or equivalent qualification)
