Responsibilities

What will the apprentice be doing?

It is exciting times here at Churchill Retirement Living and due to our bold growth plans we are recruiting for an Apprentice IT Service Desk Analyst to support the Company’s growing IT department, based in Ringwood, Hampshire.

You will:

  • Use your customer service skills to provide user support on all company supported computers, applications, and software
  • Troubleshoot problems, and advise users on appropriate actions
  • Resolve all issues where possible, or re-assign as appropriate to other team members.
  • Create new starter accounts
  • Provide desktop and remote support
  • Build and configure laptops and PCs

 

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

As part of the role you will complete the Informations Communications Technician Level 3 apprenticeship, following the Support Technician pathway.

In addition to this you will also have the opportunity to gain further qualificaitons in Microsoft 365 and Azure.

 

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

This is a permanent role. On successful completion of the apprenticeship programme there is a natural progression to a service desk role.

We strongly believe in developing our Collegues, and there is a potential for further qualifications and training once the apprenticeship programme has been succesfully completed.

The role is based in Ringwood and is office based, to provide the best levels of support to set you up for success.
