HBP Systems are now looking for a passionate Apprentice IT Implementation Project Assistant to join their forward-thinking team. Working alongside the IT Service Team you will be working in a fast-paced environment providing 1st line support to customers and diagnosing problems with Windows products.


Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1st Line Support to customers and internal staff
  • Creating, assigning and solving tickets via our ticketing system
  • Assist the IT Service team with installations and updates
  • Install and update OS's, Office 365 and Windows updates as well as installing and updating bespoke software for clients as required
  • Configuring hardware for a range of purposes such as component repair/replacement on PC's & Laptops
  • Work on network hardware such as routers & switches
  • Provide technical guidance to the sales team if required  

Full support and guidance will be provided by both the employer and training provider throughout the apprenticeship.

  • There are career progression opportunities available upon completion of the programme
  • You, along with your employer, may progress to a Level 4 programme, and take your training even further

Skills Required

  • Full UK driving licence would be desirable but not essential
  • Interest in and experience of working with PCs
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise a workload
  • Good written and verbal communication skill

Qualities Required

  • Positive thinker who is able to work within a team
  • Knowledge of Windows Exchange or Cloud would be desirable but not essential
  • Knowledge of computer hardware, networks or server would be desirable but not essential

Qualifications Required

  • 5 GCSEs grade A-C or equivalent, to include maths and English
