Responsibilities
Duties will include:
- Dealing with both internal and external clients to provide a strong and reliable service for all employee and the senior leadership team
- This includes sharing advice and guidance to ground level staff from the point of the recruitment process to the support and advice of mangers with policies and processes
- You will work directly with the HR manager gaining the professional skills required to work in a HR department as well as developing your knowledge and understanding of the HR operations function
- You will have the opportunity to get involved in interesting and varied roles across the HR Function
Future Prospects
- We are an expanding Multi Academy Trust and therefore may have opportunities at the end of this apprenticeship to apply for a HR Administrator post which has an FTE starting salary of 20,903.00 p.a / 10.83 per hour
Skills Required
- Able to use word processing, spreadsheets, database packages and e-mail
- Demonstrable communications skills able to receive and give accurate information to a wide range of people inside and outside of school
- Able to plan and organise workloads to meet conflicting work demands and deadlines
- Able to write straight forward reports and read and comprehend complex written information
- Able to work on own initiative within school policy and procedure
Qualities Required
- Able to develop constructive working relationships with others
Qualifications Required
- Maths and English GCSE 8-4 (A-C) or equivalent course with pass grades
Training Provided
HR Support Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard:
- There will be a series of workshops throughout the programme and learning will also take place in the workplace
- If you need to complete Functional Skills, you will be required to attend College once a week for at least the first 3 months
- Apprentices without maths or English at level 2 must achieve this before their end point assessment
