Joining us as an Apprentice HR Assistant you will be based at our Maple Cross office either in our HR Service Delivery Team or Talent & Capability Team. We will support you to help you achieve your Level 3 qualification in HR Support.


What will the apprentice be doing?

HR Service Delivery

Provide first line response to the business through the HR Helpdesk

Manage new starter, on-boarding, absence and family friendly processes and changes to employees terms and conditions and benefits

Talent & Capability

Provide admin support to our Diversity & Inclusion, Recruitment, Emerging Talent and Leadership & Development teams including arranging interviews and organising internal and external events and supporting our internal diversity networks.


What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Level 3 HR Support qualification provided by West Hertfordshire College through day release.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

HR position with Skanska. Upon successful completion of this apprenticeship you will be eligible to apply for associate membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.
