Job Description

Apprentice HR Administrator for a double glazed window manufacturer based in Yorkshire. For the right person, there is the opportunity to secure full time employment and progress to higher level qualifications.


We are looking for an HR apprentice to support with the day to day functions of Glasscraft HR, from our Leeds site in LS10.

Any workplace experience could be considered transferrable, but is not essential as we will work together on your training and development.

A willingness to learn, ask questions, and work with a varied workload, are required for this role.

You will work closely with the HR Manager to support the employees, and Department managers; some of the areas you will get involved in include:

General Administration:

  • Dealing with general enquiries (phone and email)
  • Managing incoming and outgoing post
  • Ordering stock, uniforms and PPE
  • Supporting with project related tasks as required such as appraisals and filing systems
  • Any other duties that are in line with the role

HR Specific responsibility:

  • Monitoring and updating the HR system daily for weekly payroll deadlines
  • Supporting the HR Manager with the recruitment process and onboarding
  • Supporting the HR Manager with employee queries
  • Updating HR processes
  • Helping with communications relating to employee benefits and company updates

Future Prospects

  • Upon completion of the apprenticeship you could progress into full-time employment
