What will the apprentice be doing?
As an Apprentice Housekeeping Associate, you will be responsible for cleaning the hotel bedrooms, bathrooms and Public Areas, ensuring that sufficient linen is available for daily operations and might also be required to complete additional cleaning tasks in the Back of House, ensure deliveries are taken care of and put away, deal with guests requests and much more.
You will be required to complete various duties during your day as required of you, which will help you gain life skills in your job
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
From working with us you will achieve your Hospitality Team Member Level 2 Apprenticeship in the hospitality sector.
Your apprenticeship is work-based & you will learn all the knowledge, skills and behaviours day to day to support you achieve your apprenticeship within the workplace, with regular visits from your tutor
You will also be fully supported by a dedicated mentor throughout the duration of your apprenticeship to help you work towards achieving a distinction for your final assessment.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
After you have completed your first year your then progress to year the second year as a Supervisor in training and complete your Level 3 Hospitality Supervisor Apprenticeship, Once you have done this you can look towards undertaking your Level 4 in Hotel Management or become a Trainer with our Learning Mentor Level 3, which either can lead to Head Housekeeper or Regional Manager Roles with the company in the future as you grow with us.
Reality CheckThe role of a Housekeeping Associate is a practical and manual job that includes bending, carrying, standing and pushing/pulling equipment. Full Training will be provided throughout the apprenticeship from our onsite Trainers who will also be your mentor Locations are various across London, but will be discussed at the interview stage
